Course Outline

This course provides a work-based qualification for people employed as safety stewards. The learning materials provide all of the underpinning knowledge requirements of the NVQ qualification. Work-based assessors will also carry out observations in the workplace to confirm the course assessment criteria.

•  Contribute to the work of your team
• Control the entry, exit and movement of people at spectator events
• Monitor spectators and deal with crowd problems
• Help to manage conflict
• Control and detain people at a spectator event for action by the police

Progression Opportunities

On completion of this programme learners can progress on to further NVQ Level 3 in their area of expertise.

Duration

The programme is work based, normally lasting around 32 weeks.

As an approved training provider we are able to offer many clients access to national fundiing streams to assist with, or even fully meet any fees due. Funding streams are normally time limited and can be dependent on location.
